Secondary RO process (main components)

Features of the two-stage RO process
Secondary RO: Through the technical treatment of the secondary RO scheme, it can fully meet the requirements of the water inlet conditions of EDI equipment. The EDI system can run stably and for a long time.
Key point: NaOH can be added between the effluent of the primary RO and the inlet water of the secondary RO high-pressure pump to adjust the pH value (7.5-8.5), and convert CO2 in the primary RO product water into HCO3- ions, which can be passed through the secondary RO remove.
Scope of application: raw water turbidity, hardness, alkalinity, residual chlorine, electrical conductivity and other parameters are too high.
Replaceable unit: The multi-media filter in the system can be replaced by UF equipment.

Features of primary RO process:

First-level RO: through the technical treatment of the first-level RO scheme, it can basically meet the requirements of the water inlet conditions of EDI equipment. The EDI system can run stably.
Key points: HCl can be added between the RO effluent and the degassing tower water, which is beneficial to the degassing tower to remove CO2, and NaOH is added before entering the EDI to make the pH value between 7-9. At present, degassing membrane modules have been gradually used.
